Anticipated Outcomes
By the end of the workshop, we aim to have:
i. Built a committed community of thinkers and practitioners to support action research on gender transformative approaches in agricultural research in development.
ii. Distilled lessons learned and guiding principles in pursuing effective gender transformative approaches based on a discussion of ongoing and past practice in agriculture and other sectors.
iii. Established clear ownership and mandates for taking workshop ideas and actions forward.
iv. Embedded the ideas of experimenting and learning as core to how we work together.
v. A timeline to produce a publication bringing together workshop participants’ understandings of, experiences in and learning from employing gender transformational approaches in agriculture and other sectors.
