Economic importance of sandfish to poor rural Asian communities

A recent article published by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), WorldFish research donors, highlights the economic importance of sandfish to poor rural Asian Communities. Following the Asia–Pacific Tropical Sea Cucumber Aquaculture Symposium earlier in the year, the latest article highlights the key research activities being explored and the implications these activities have for numerous countries in the region. This project is being led by Dr David Mills, and focus' on the restocking and culturing of sandfish in the Asia-Pacific region.
