Integrated agricultural production systems for the Poor and Vulnerable in dry areas

This research program targets the poor and highly vulnerable populations of dry areas in developing countries, and will develop technology, policy and institutional innovations to improve livelihoods using an agro-ecosystems approach. This agro-ecosystem approach will help achieve the CGIAR‘s System Level Outcomes: reducing rural poverty, improving food security, improving nutrition and health, and sustainable management of natural resources.
