The Big Numbers Project, a joint activity of FAO, World Bank, WorldFish and national partners provides gender disaggregated data for the fishing industry. The project was funded through PROFISH, the World Bank’s global program on sustainable fishing. These analyses, with disaggregated data on capture fisheries, will inform policy making and support the provision of management advice both within countries and globally.
