Yumiko Kura is Country Director for Cambodia and Regional Program Manager for the Greater Mekong Region. She provides leadership for the WorldFish office in Cambodia and also serves as the primary liaison with key government and donor counterparts in the region. She is an environment and natural resource management specialist with 20 years of applied research and program management experience in the field of fisheries policy, water and wetland resource assessment and management, in several countries in Asia and Africa. Prior to joining WorldFish in 2005, she held research positions at the World Resources Institute (WRI), the World Bank, and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and contributed to global and regional syntheses on ecosystem services and biodiversity. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University in the US.
