The Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) is the world’s largest global agricultural innovation network. It brings evidence to policymakers, innovation to partners and new tools to harness the economic, environmental and nutritional power of agriculture. CGIAR advances agricultural science and innovation to enable poor people, especially women, to better nourish their families and to improve productivity and resilience so that they can share in economic growth and manage natural resources in the face of climate change and other challenges. A representation of CGIAR’s funding partners forms the CGIAR System Council.
