Leading up to World Oceans Day on 8 June 2020, Too Big to Ignore, a global research network that focuses on addressing issues affecting small-scale fisheries, will be hosting a Small is Bountiful: 24-Hour Around the World event featuring various panel discussions and a virtual art festival. 

 

WorldFish will be partnering with Ocean Nexus Program to lead the session on “Small-Scale Fisheries as a Nexus of SDGs - The Future We Want!” happening on Monday, 8 June 2020 at 17:30 PM (UTC+8). Check your local time here.

 

This live webinar will be moderated by WorldFish's Resilient Small-scale Fisheries Program Leader, Pip Cohen, and ICSF’s Programme Officer, Manas Roshan. They will be joined by WorldFish’s Gender Research Leader, Cynthia Mcdougall, Research Program Leader for Value Chains and Nutrition, Shakuntala Thilsted, and other key experts in this exciting discussion on small-scale fisheries.
