International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is Canada’s federal global development research promotion body dedicated to the creation and sharing of knowledge to alleviate poverty and food insecurity. IDRC seeks to find innovative, sustainable, local solutions that make a difference to individuals and societies and improve the living conditions of those who need it most. Its Canadian Partnerships Program supports scientific, academic and development communities in Canada to work on complex global issues, while its Donor Partnership Program seeks to develop relationships with research funders and international organizations around the world.
