CGIAR’s Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security – Southeast Asia (CCAFS SEA) is led by the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) globally, and IRRI in Southeast Asia. IRRI is the Lead Center on the CGIAR Research Program on Rice and develops new rice varieties and rice crop management techniques that help farmers improve the yield and quality of their rice crop in a way that is environmentally sustainable. CCAFS SEA is a strategic research partnership of the CGIAR and Future Earth, dedicated to achieving a science-based understanding of climate change, agriculture, and food security.
