New Partnership for Africa’s Development Planning and Coordinating Agency
The New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) Planning and Coordinating Agency is the implementing agency of the African Union that advocates for NEPAD. It facilitates and coordinates the development of NEPAD’s continent-wide programs and projects, and it mobilizes resources and engages the global community, regional economic communities and member states in the implementation of these programs and projects. The NEPAD Agency’s primary investment programs are in human resources; industrialization, science, technology and innovation; regional integration, infrastructure and trade; and natural resources governance and food security. The NEPAD Agency was established in 2010.
