The University of Nottingham is a public research university in Nottingham, United Kingdom. The university aims to produce world-leading research and improve life for individuals and societies worldwide. With more than 43,000 students, the University of Nottingham is made up of a number of schools and departments organized into five faculties: Arts, Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, Science, Social Sciences. In 2000, it became the first British University to establish a campus in Malaysia, and the first foreign university to set up a campus in China, in 2004.
