Delvene Notere Boso is the Country Director for the WorldFish Solomon Islands Program. Her decade working career has been with WorldFish, initially working with communities facilitating community based resource management (CBRM) as a researcher with local communities. She believes that the success of CBRM in Solomon Islands resides in individuals and groups of individuals, including government and institutions, truly owning being stewards over the resources and efforts to look after them. As Country Director, Delvene is responsible for the leadership and management of the country program for Solomon Islands, including developing and implementing annual country priorities, overseeing staffing, budgeting, resource mobilization, monitoring and evaluation to sustain and develop the program. Delvene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences, Major in Marine Science and Management from Southern Cross University, Lismore, Australia.
