Rajiv Gandhi Center for Aquaculture (RGCA) is a body under India's Marine Products Export Development Authority, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, dedicated to promoting sustainable, long-term aquaculture development. It has established a network of technology development centers in aquaculture across India to conduct research, develop new innovative technologies and distribute knowledge to improve the industry and conditions of the country's fish farmers. RGCA conducts pilot-scale operations, sets up demonstration farms, introduces new knowledge and innovations from abroad and puts them to use in an Indian context.
