The 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is themed “Better together: 80 years and more for peace, development and human rights”. This year, UNGA will highlight the urgency of delivering on the promise of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and aims to reinvigorate global cooperation on it. The week of 20-26 September, the UN Deputy Secretary-General will convene high-level dialogues for a deep dive into the pressing challenges and potential solutions.
Alongside, Climate Week NYC, run in partnership with UNGA, will convene business leaders, change makers, policy makers and civil society from all backgrounds to accelerate climate action and global collaboration around it.
