WorldFish was delighted to host the 4th Master Class in Agricultural Research Leadership and Management, organized by The Crawford Fund in conjunction with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) from 3 to 8 November 2019 at WorldFish headquarters, Penang, Malaysia.

With over 25 participants from 16 countries, the course aims to introduce the skills and practices required to manage and lead successful R&D and extension programs for agricultural research systems that support the development needs of countries globally.

Ms. Chan Chin Yee, WorldFish Research Fellow, Sustainable Aquaculture and Dr. Olivier Joffre, WorldFish Scientist, Sustainable Aquaculture participated in the six-day course by Crawford Fund.

The Crawford Fund is a non-profit non-governmental organization that works to raise awareness of the benefits to Australia and developing countries from international agricultural research, commissions studies on research policy and practice, and arranges specialist training activities for developing country scientists.
