A global expo to explore calls for solidarity in rethinking and reshaping food security and agri-food systems to ensure healthy lives and sustain people and the planet.

In this hybrid event, all sectors of society including policymakers, youth advocates, thought leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, governments, NGOs and the general public galvanized efforts in transforming food systems and achieving a world without hunger. 

Three events comprised the International Day program for World Food Day 2021: a Specialist Closed-Door Discussion, a Public-Facing Flagship Event and Youth Circle Discussion. WorldFish’s Global Lead in Nutrition and Public Health Shakuntala Thilsted joined the sessions below:

The discussions are framed around the general question of how we ensure commitments made at the UN Food Systems Summit are delivered – from a multi-stakeholder perspective.
