Lean is the ideology of maximizing productivity while simultaneously minimizing waste in operations. This simple yet incredibly effective methodology is quickly adopted to boost production and reduce costs.

The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Fish and Aquaculture Africa Magazine (AAM) bring you a set of four exciting and informative webinars that will unpack important lessons from the Fish Innovation Lab's activities in Nigeria. Global experts will present and discuss key aspects related to the Nigerian Aquaculture Sector and provide an opportunity for questions and interaction.

In this first event of the series, the team working on the Applying Lean Management in Aquaculture Production activity will discuss how a Lean Production Systems approach is being applied to aquaculture in Nigeria. Come hear exclusive information directly from the project leaders on how aquaculture participants from Delta and Ogun State radically improved their farms, processing, and feed mills.

The webinar will uncover problems addressed by the project including poor water quality, feed waste, and wasteful production practices. Learn how the project was structured, participants were engaged, and the results spread. Success stories with data and new trending ways of taking your aquaculture business to the next level will be shared.
