I have a background in abalone, shrimp, oysters, finfish, eucalypt and pine genetic improvement programs, primarily based in Australia.  My current work at WorldFish relates to tilapia and carp genetics in Asia and Africa.  My primary professional interest is the optimisation of genetic improvement programs.  Specifically, to maximise genetic gains through the adoption of appropriate data management, analyses and decision making, while recognising infrastructure, financial, biosecurity, human resource, environmental, biological and genetic constraints.  My primary skills are in data management and quantitative genetic analyses.
