In conjunction with their Society's 36th Annual General Meeting, the Malaysian Fisheries Society (MFS) and the Centre of Research for Advanced Aquaculture (CORAA) brought together experts from academia, industry, and government to share the latest innovations and technologies in the monitoring and management, disease surveillance and diagnosis and the IoT system to advance sustainable aquaculture production systems.

As thought leaders contributing to this line of expertise, WorldFish's Scientist, Jérôme Delamare-Deboutteville, and Research Fellow, Laura Khor, join the talks to shed light on digital tools for the surveillance of aquaculture production systems and reporting of disease outbreaks and the disease diagnosis in a fish farmer's backpack respectively.
